Daffodil

I saw this daffodil growing in our local cemetery. Its stem had been bent and the flowerhead was pointing down towards the grass, giving me this rather unusual perspective.

Please view large, if you have time.

Daffodils already, they are early! The unusual perspective and especially the waterdrops make this a brilliant flower portrait.

Keith Burton replied to Gudrun:

Yes a bit early, and there aren't too many around yet. These were in a cemetery which is quite sheltered. Glad you like the shot Gudrun..........and thank you.

Had it been deliberately bent over? I haven't seen any daffodils yet, but there again, I don't leave my house, so that doesn't help. I absolutely love this time of year - the promise of warmer weather.

Keith Burton replied to Jenny McIntyre:

I don't know Jenny, but it was very close to the pathway, so I suspect someone did it by accident. At least it enabled me to get a slightly different perspective.
