Amber cold health alert extended across England [revisions issued 06Jan2026]

An Amber alert has been issued for all regions in England effective from 8pm Friday 2 January until 12pm Sunday 11 January 2026. ie extended for
note i) also much snow / ice already in Scotland / Wales from the last few days.
note ii) Amber Weather warnings issued ref Storm Goretti affecting the Midlands and SW England.
