Some people were starting to drift off - perhaps in search of lunch ... although at least one group were off to try each other's transport.

The Market Cross aka the Butter Cross [to the left] had been taken over the local WI [?] who were dispensing hot & cold / soft drinks as well as sweet and savoury snacks. Plus the Ice Cream van ... which was very useful.
{Alcohol was available from the Swinburne Arms, if you wanted it, but I don't drink and drive, especially when on a bike. The Bay Horse, in the background, has - sadly - been closed for some years}
