Stark Skeletal Winter Woods

I took a long walk through the Hampshire countryside today. Most of the day was low light. This deliberately dark photo captures the sombre beauty of trees in the depth of winter. I think it works best viewed large and full screen

Well worth viewing large............especially for the detail in the trees! I really like this one Ed, the composition is great with a nice leading line from the (barely there) path.

The diffused light and the mono tones make this a moody but beautiful scene. First Class work!
