A drop of water

A single drop, so small and clear,
A tiny globe, with no weight to fear.
It hangs suspended, a glistening gem,
A moment caught, a fleeting whim.
From cloud it fell, a silent tear,
A whisper of rain, on leaf so near.
It dances, twirls, on a blade of grass,
A fleeting beauty, that cannot pass.
