A lovely and immersive image with so much to love...the moss, the grass hugging the edge of the bank, the reflections in the water, the overhanging foliage...it goes on and on!
I also wanted to say thank you for the comment you left regarding my bench picture and what I had to say. You know, I try to figure out what people will like so they will click on my picture and then visit all of the insets. Of course I process pictures that I like but when I present them, I am not sure which will be interesting or not. I often choose an image that stands out and is clearly recognizable. That's why I wasn't so sure about the log bench--it sits in a plain background and isn't easy to see from a small thumbnail. Will people see just a blob of nothing and move on? My heart of sharing my images is not to "be popular", but instead, to delight, entertain, and ultimately, to make the viewer feel happiness--which is my deepest desire. My wish for a picture to be more popular lies only in the hope that I can make more people happy! The idea of being responsible for someone forgetting--for even just a few seconds--an unhappy point at that time, to give them a reason to smile, to think about something previously unconsidered...this is something I strive for! :) Sometimes though, I am just not sure a picture that I am driven to post, will interest enough to click and find happiness there! :)
