Tamron Adaptall-2 Model 65A Lens

This is an image of a used lens I purchased in February, 2012. The lens is a manual focus Tamron Adaptall-2 Model 65A SP 35-105mm f2.8 Aspherical Lens with attached Tamron Adaptall-2 A3FH Lens Hood, shown mounted to my Pentax K20D camera. I bought it used from KEH with the zoom function very loose. I tried several ideas to try to remedy the problem with the zoom function and was able to resolve the problem quickly and at no cost. I folded a piece of a note card and inserted it between the two lens barrels and it is held in place with a rubber band. This provides just enough friction to keep the lens barrel still and will also zoom easily. For this image, I used my Canon Digital Rebel XT (350D) Camera and Canon AF EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 kit lens, hand held, manually focused, 54mm F/L, ISO 400, f20, 1/200 sec, with fill-in flash from camera's built-in electronic flash. This is a Large JPEG and is Straight Out Of Camera (SOOC) and is without any adjustment, editing, cropping, or re-sizing.
