Glad you like it Katja. As for the fender skirts, they're known as "Foxcrafts", which I believe is the name of the company that manufactured them! :)

No split window and looks like there are semaphore trafficators on it - which I believe would make it a 1953 or 1954 (based on the US version of the Beetle, anyway).
