What's New Pussycat ...

Another 'nearly ran' for last week's Sunday Challenge , for which the theme was cats - real or otherwise.

This is based on a shot of the one and only real cat I came across that week, but which has obviously been run through the 'processing room' on the way to posting to create a painterly effect.

You'll find a copy of the original image in the Notes.

Also for Sight and Sound ...

Wäre es dir zu viel gewesen nur die Katze zu "bearbeiten"?!
Wirkt sehr schön der Filter... es gibt aber auch sehr gute
Pinsel-Werkzeuge die dir da helfen. :)

I know a cat whose fur is almost completely white.
Only a small black spot on the neck.
And because it is not matter what you call cats ...
they were called "Miss Doctor"

To be honest I felt the original shot was a little too 'wishy washy' Katja. It was only afterwards that I decided to go the painterly route. Be very interested though what brush tools you think might have been of use though. Message me if you like? :)

She's a lady, that's obvious! Cropping worked well to make her take centre stage and the filter helps to bring her out even more.
No sins for this week's challenge?

autofantasia replied to Gudrun:

Glad you like it Gudrun. As for this week's challenge I'm afraid I drew a blank when it came to inspiration and I fear this week is going the same way! :(

I love how you've processed this, Paul. It is so pretty and of course this is a purrfect song to go along with it. :)

autofantasia replied to Karen's Place:

Ha, don't think I didn't see what you did there. Sadly I couldn't come up with any thing new for this week probably because I was feline a bit down (paws for effect)! ;)
