1964 Ford Falcon - 683 JWO

A messy display what with all the stuff lying around and a poor shot if I'm honest what with blown highlights and all. Still, I don't come across these all that often so I thought it was still worth sharing.

It was up for sale too ... a possible snip at £7,775.

Better looking than most I've seen! My grandparents had its cousin the 1964 Comet ... it was their first new car and a real rust bucket within a few years.

According to the notes it had been resprayed and had a new hood fitted ... the shut lines on that door look a bit off though! ;)

Oh boy, these were kind of awful cars, along with the Comet. It's amazing what's desirable now, though. But, I like this shot even if you don't!

Glad you like it Diane and as you say it's amazing what becomes desirable ... just look at the Edsel and how it went from being seen as a joke to something much valued! :)
