1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS 350 - PKH 234F

The First Generation Camaro debuted in September 1966, for the 1967 model year, up to 1969. It was available as a two-door coupé or convertible and had various power options including the awesome sounding 5.7 litre engine that was fitted to this lovely example.

I say awesome sounding as I had the pleasure of following this one into the showground and it sounded so sweet I could barely stop smiling as I listened to it rumbling away.

Cool find and photo Paul! I looked into buying a 1969 SS 396 Camaro back in 1978, but it was a little high for back then and I wasn't all that hot about it's color. I ended up buying a 1969 SS 396 Chevelle instead.

Sounds like a pretty decent alternative Norm! :)

It was OK, but looking back ... I wish I'd bought the Camaro! :-)

Glad you like it Stig and I agree some of the later models were much less attractive. Must admit though that I liked the Fifth Generation models (2010-2015) ... probably because the design seemed to be inspired by those early cars, less so the most recent incarnation! :)

Yes, they are rather nice ... a friend of mine had one back in the Eighties that won quite a few trophies over here on the show circuit ... a gorgeous car! :)
