1970 Ford Cortina Mk2 1600 E - XKH 177H

The chap who owned this asked if I'd mind taking a few shots of it. So we took it out of the main showground to a quieter area.

I did email him copies afterwards, but never heard back from him sadly. Just hope he was happy with the shots!

Back in my prime, Paul, I had a few of these Mk2's, one being a Savage with a Ford 3ltr V6, that was a bit of a wreck but super quick. Another one was a Twin cam Lotus, and even to this day I can recall the regret felt on the day it was swapped for a Granada!

Sounds like you had some fun back then Tim. I've only ever seen one Savage that I can remember and that was this Mk1 ...

Cool photo Paul! Did the photos you sent him have your watermark on them? That can be a problem here sometimes with getting prints made.

autofantasia replied to Indycaver (Norm):

Fairly sure they didn't Norm as I was seeing it as being a favour for the owner not looking to get any publicity or credit for them. Interesting point though, which I must admit hadn't occurred to me before so will certainly bear it in mind in future. :)
