Leyland Atlantean AVK 176V fleet no 176 was delivered new to the Byker – Newcastle – depot of Tyne and Wear PTE in August 1980. Upon deregulation in 1986, this became Busways Travel Services.
Here we see it on show at Whitehaven during the Leyland National 50 event.

Remember these Atlanteans being delivered. That was back in the days of Tyne & Wear Transport, a very similar livery [colours] but with some detailed differences, and not just the TWT decals.
