Ticket machine

In the days when buses had conductors - a virtually extinct species these days - they were armed with ticket machines similar to this. The example shown here was the weapon of choice for Stockport Corporation Transport.

And the "Setright" just showing into on the left of the picture was a feature of the Ravenglass & Eskdale in a similar time period.

Thanks for the reply. And apologies for the delay, but have been out out of action for a while. I used these when I worked as a bus conductor on Stockport Corporation back in the day - when I was 17!. The Setright were used by the rival North Western Road Car Co.
