Delta Tristar

Delta Air Lines N769DL, a Lockheed L1011 Tristar 500 at Manchester.

This was taken from a spot near what is now the Manchester Airport Runway Visitor Park, and the fence is somewhat more substantial, as this image shows:-

Eee lad ,you don't see many snaps of Tristars at Ringway nowadays. As you say, the fences now reflect our troubled times. I shall be passing through here again soon.

HFF and have a good weekend, Herb

Times (and fences) do indeed change! A long while since I saw a Tristar. HFF.

Tractacus replied to tiabunna:

Times were less paranoid back then. Strangely enough, the last Tristar I saw was also here at Manchester, in 2013... HFF!
