The first time ever

The sunday challenge = Take a photograph of something you've never taken before
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This Nerium oleander never was in bloom before. We were told it didn't like a lot of water.
Then we discovered the opposite is true. This is our reward!

In my country it is common in the nature, but only alongside with arroyos, that is where water flows in winter and some humidity remains during the dry season. Definitely needs water !

I remember seeing this years ago when we visited France every year. It was growing by the roadside and clearly loved the heat. This is a delicate colour

Is it hardy where you live, Luc? Let's hope it flowers every year from now on.

some say it is as a result of climate change, Amelia. We can provide shelter in times of severe frost.
