HBM Aylestone Leicester 8th February 2026

Another shot of the result of recent long-lasting rainfall. This is bridge 105 the Pack Horse Bridge over the Leicester branch of the Grand Union canal. Behind the camera the River Soar joins the canal to become a canalised river and with all the rain it has overfilled and backed up through here to threaten the bench.
