Great Central Railway Loughborough 30th September 2004

GCR/LNER O4 63601 departs Loughborough station on a "Windcutter" minerals train Photo Charter - I worked the morning firing turn on the same charter & after handing over to the relief crew took the opportunity to take some photos myself.

That's right Graham. I think 2 are still in existence and at one time there were plans to bring one back to the UK. It never happened.

There appears to be three. One under repair with an operating museum, and two in the Dorrrigo never nevers where nothing is likely to happen until the owner dies...
