Actually do you know that you can merge groups?
You also administrate the Great Britain and Northern Ireland group, which is literally the same, innit?
There is an ongoing effort to reduce the number of groups, ideally without deleting inactive ones. For example, when groups share the same theme, administrators can discuss and agree on their future. It is also possible to merge groups, allowing all members to become part of a new group, with admins serving as co-administrators.
I am raising this idea here because, for instance, @Herb Riddle posts in Great Britain and Northern Ireland, while I post in United Kingdom (UK). Both are actually administered by the @Old Sea Dog so he can actually decide very quickly about merging.
