The Salvation Army Hall on Nelson Street in Millom dates from 1889. It appears to have closed as a church in early 2025 and since then Millom Town Council has considered and rejected purchasing the building as a youth hub. West Cumbria seems to be a stronghold of the pebbledash tradition.
