QJ class 2-10-2 locomotives nos 7163 and 7143 arrive with a westbound freight at Lindong which is a small town halfway between Chabuga and Daban on the Jitong railway. The town is actually situated a couple of miles from the station where a small community has developed along with a zinc smelting plant. Freight trains often stopped here to take water and to shunt the sidings.
