Caister tower

The water tower at Caister-on-Sea proved challenging to photograph, but after negotiating a couple of maze-like housing estates and with the assistance of a kind resident it proved possible to find a good angle.

It was completed in 1932 by the Great Yarmouth Waterworks Company and stands 160 feet high. The tower holds over 3 million litres of water and serves Caister-on-Sea, the local villages, Great Yarmouth and Gorleston-on-Sea.
