"Love and Rowing"

A couple of my fellow guests out for a romantic row on Lake Loree at the Sunny Hill Resort in New York's Catskill Mountains. Question: Would you have cropped out the living and dead trees on the left side of the image, or does that help to balance and frame the photo?

A lovely scene. If I were to crop, I'd take out just the foreground tree at the left.

I like this composition John...........it works very well. I think cropping too much on the left would unbalance the shot. If I wanted to be really picky I might have cropped up a little from the bottom to just underneath the tree trunk. Ultimately though, you have do do what you think is best.

Nice =) I'd crop out the foreground tree on the left and the glaring white reflections from the bottom.... Still a nice scene, regardless =)
