( because I think on the other bank the path seems fenced on both sides. And there is a stone wall on the left that might be considered a fence, that would make 9!

Yes...there at least 9, possibly 10 or 11 (some are extremely difficult to see / identify). There are 2 (possibly 3) in the gap under the left-hand bridge and there are 3 (possibly 4) underneath the extreme right-hand edge of the highest bridge.....you will need to view the photo in "original size" to see them all.

It is what I have done in a 27" retina screen, but could not count so many!!!!

I've just added some "notes" but its still very difficult to determine how many there are (my monitor is only 21" / 533mm).

You can send it in every week for a while and just point out a different fence every time!
