The Sunday Challenge: wabi-sabi

Achter deze muur bevond zich tot enkele jaren geleden een scheepswerf. Tegenwoordig is de werf in gebruik als ruimte om haven voor kleinere huurboten.
De meeste graffiti op deze muur dateert uit 2016 of eerder, en voor graffiti is dat zeer oud. Onder deze graffiti bevindt zich ook een plaquette met een afbeelding van een scheepshelling met boot erop en met als tekst: Aangeboden door het personeel. 1907-1947, nu 75 jaar geleden.

There was a shipyard behind this wall until some years ago. Nowadays, the shipyard is used as a harbour for smaller rental boats.
Most of the graffiti on this wall dates from 2016 or earlier, and that is extreme old for graffiti. Under the layers of graffiti there is also a plaque with an image of a slipway with a boat on it with the text: Offered by the staff. 1907-1947, which is now 75 years ago.
