The Bradford (ornamental) Pear trees are coming into bloom.

We have madness weather here.. today 86F.. it is supposed to be in the low 40sF

It was also blowing a gale so it was a case of timing it just right !

A delight!!
Temperatures in Madrid are in the 60s now but have been and still will be, back down to the normal late winter 20s and 30s (Madrid has an almost continental climate, being far from the sea and situated on a high plateau - therefore very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. My English friends think: lucky Andy, in Spain for the winter - they don't realise we get much colder temperatures than London in most winters!

Thankyou Andy !

Temps here fluctuate wildly... and range from -8F to 120F. We can have 60° drops in 12 hours... then there are the tornados.. the straight line winds(hurricanes in miniature) and downblasts (vortices if blasting badness). I understand !

Amazing captures of this anomalous weather. Here in NY, turtles (cold blooded) amphibians have come out and been around for at least the last 5 days. From what I can see, it's the first documented time ever they've emerged from hibernation in February in NY! Clear evidence of climate change as this kind of weather is become more common over the last few years.

Such a beautiful image Pam from the sharpness of the subject to the light glistening on the petals ... this is one that deserves to be viewed large! :)
