Margaret Keturah Alice on her 21st Birthday ~ 22nd September 1939

My Beloved Mum

She was a red headed and green eyed and as beautiful "inside" as she was outside

She and my father were "courting" then and married in August 1941

Shortly after he went away to WWII (India and Burma)and they didnt see each other for over 4 years.

She became a Teacher .

She died aged 50 in June 1969

Yes !! and the green eyes. Her's were more intensely green .. it doesnt show on the photo though.

There isnt a day I dont miss her.. and I hear myself sometimes and wonder when exactly I became her ! I still "talk" to her. I was just 14 when she died...we we great friends.

It's a small world; My dad was posted to India in WW11 and my Uncle, Cdr John Horn was in Burma during WW11
