Racoon ~ Babysitting last night..........
Last night Mama R had just gone off and left Baby ! So Baby R curled up in the tree !
She was about 20 feet up the tree

These are not urban raccoons... these are shyer country cousins. In 4 years here I have has ONE broken feeder.. and that was old and on its way out. Yes.. they will take suet and seed balls.. so I dont put it out.
My human (well I hear a rumour he is human) neighbour is more asinine and grief than ANY wildlife is....
I make one other exception... the Copperhead.. those I loath as they are mean and nasty and will charge a human. Snakes per se I dont have a real problem with..., Copperheads I do !
