In what seems like a lifetime ago, I overnighted in the Javan city of Semarang on a train journey across the island. It was very apparent that foreigners were a rare sight. Even the pedicab drivers did not offer to "find me good hotel".

This photo was taken by a Yashica Electro 35CC film camera and COLOR-YASHINON DX 1:1.8 f=35mm lens using Kodak Daylight 135 negative film, the negative scanned by an HP Scanjet G4050 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
