Adox CHS 100 II is a classic-style, panchromatic black-and-white film known for high sharpness, a long tonal range, and a distinctive mid-20th-century aesthetic. It offers excellent, fine-grained results with modern manufacturing, including two anti-halo layers. It replaced the classic Adox CHS 100 Art film originally manufactured by Fotokemika in Croatia, discontinued in 2012. Adox reformulated this film and has produced several batches in 135 and 120 and sheet size since 2016 that quickly sold out. Accordingly, I purchased enough (stored in my freezer) to last for a few years.
