Ceremonial Incense-Burner
A large ceremonial covered vessel (incense burner) of tripod form, with three cranes acting as legs. High, curving handles and a domed openwork cover surmounted by a knob with dragons in relief. Decoration of cranes and deer in a landscape. Made of cloisonné enamel.
Qing Dynasty 1736-1795 - On display at the British Museum in London
This photo was taken by a Kowa Super 66 medium format film camera with a KOWA 1:3.5/55 lens and Kowa L39•3C(UV) ø67 filter using Ilford Delta 3200 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
