Crowd Control

by Scott Holcomb
An angry mob of Joshua trees has assembled near this picnic site in Joshua Tree National Park. They are outraged by humans burning charcoal in the barbecues, protesting the incineration of their distant cousins. Only the flimsiest of fences is holding them back!
Never underestimate an irate Joshua tree!!

This photo was taken by a Hasselblad 500C medium format film camera with a Carl Zeiss Distagon 1:4 f=50mm lens and Hasselblad/63 1xHz-0 drop in filter using Fuji 160NS film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
