Granite Pantheon
High in a secret location in a mountainous region of the Mojave Desert is a sanctuary where the Tribe of Mojave once reigned. Although these ancient people have been lost in time, their Pantheon of Gods remain, solid as granite, assuring that the memory of the Mojave people will never die.
I pause for a moment of respect and reflection.

It makes me wonder what gods were once worshipped in the mountains in Spain where I walk. It wouldn't surprise me if the spectacular granite forms were worshipped at one time!

I am considering starting a cult with pilgrimages to this site each Summer Solstice . . .
