Gray Day

by Scott Holcomb
The cool summer fog makes for a gray day at San Gregorio State Beach.

This photo was taken by a Hasselblad 500C medium format film camera with a Carl Zeiss S-Planar 1:5.6 f=120mm lens and Kowa Y2 filter using Kodak T-MAX 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Beyond the fenced picnic area is a strange driftwood village.

An interesting scene made more moody and atmospheric by the weather Scott. It looks as if part of you fence will soon be jouning the 'driftwood village'. Nice shots

HFF and have a good weekend
