Getty Villa Peristyle

The gardens, pool and sculptures of The Getty Villa Outer Peristyle are a real treasure to behold.

This photo was taken by a Kowa/SIX medium format film camera and a KOWA 1:2.8/85mm lens with a Kowa L1A ΓΈ67 filter using Kodak Portra 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Use to love going there when I lived in LA during my first year in the US. I had no money, but there was a bus (the #2, I think) that went all the way out there, and there was no entrance fee at the time. It was a serene place to spend a sunny day.
