This photo was taken by a Kowa/SIX medium format film camera and a KOWA LENS-S 1:3.5/150mm lens with a Kowa L1A ø67 filter using Fuji 160NS (220) film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Great to travel with you through Bryce. Last time I've been there in 1996. And high quality scans! I just finished to scan 10000s of old slides, what a work ;-)

I too scanned thousands of travel slides and negatives to preserve them from eventual decay. Whew!!! It is fun to relive the past for a moment or two!
I encountered many Europeans at Bryce Canyon and other Utah parks. German was the most common language among the foreign visitors. There were many German speaking groups touring in organized packs of motorcycles followed by vans containing their camping equipment.
