This photo was taken with a Hasselblad 500C medium format film camera and Carl Zeiss Distagon 1:4 f=50mm T* lens using Kodak Portra 160 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered using Photoshop.

Many years ago, I was leaning by (not out of) the window of the guard's van, as a narrow gauge train travelled up the track. Suddenly, it got very noisy and dark. Puzzled, I looked up to see a Harrier pacing the train ! we were waved at and photographed ... I wish I still had a copy of that.

It is a unique machine. Although it was designed for military use, I think that it could also be applied for other less war-like applications.
