Fantasmal Ciprés

For some reason, people were avoiding this tree. I thought that the moaning and groaning sounds were from moving branches in the wind. On the other hand . . .

This image was taken with a Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera with a Super-Takumar/6X7 1:2.4/105mm lens using Kodak Portra 400 film, scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Monterey is the primeval heart of the Monterey Cypress range with some trees hundreds of years old.

Very intriguing photograph and tree.....
There's many things to be seen if you look long (not necessarily hard-) enough!
One seems too have managed too just peer over her shoulder before............x_x
