The left-hand side is beautiful and fascinating. The bit on the right-hand fights for attention with the other bit. The wonderful brownness is slightly compromised. There is incongruity, tension, conflict. I guess that is intentional.

i find the thin shadows on the right connect with those on the left. yes, the two sides are in conflict but i hope in a way that makes you see each side more clearly.

i thought about cropping this, as i love the left side with its browness etc as well, but it seems to fall flat without the right side.
