Wearing Basquiat’s crown. A vivid creation. Long live the spirit of the mischief maker.

Risa Profana replied to Steve Bucknell:

Thank you Steve. It broke the spell of unwillingness or inertia to paint in which I have been for so long. Funny thing is I was working on restoring a Madonna banner as a favour to a neighbour when I took the lesson and I was longing to do something like this, not like that. I think the crown was the thing that reappeared.

Thank you Giorgio. It is not that I am the biggest fan of B., but the lesson was excellent to put hands on work.

Thank you Jim. It was important for me in the sense of breaking a spell of reluctance to paint.

Esperemos que no sea tan breve y la ausencia tan larga, oye.

This is absolutely wonderful. Children perhaps do good to our creativity, bring out our own inner child?
