I have never been able to get any of my cats to pose so beautifully as this! Is your cat here a show cat? An obvious beauty! Gorgeous photo. People rarely do black and white photos, not many black and white human portraits anymore (though I like them best), and extremely rare to have an animal portrait in black and white. I really love it.

Thanks. I know what you mean about getting them to pose. I had a couple who would pose as soon as they saw the camera or phone pointed their way, but doesn't happen anymore, they usually turn their backs now !! I take a lot with my phone while they are distracted looking at birds outside or TV (have a couple of TV addicts), or playful. They aren't show cats, but are gorgeous, highly intelligent darlings. This one is my youngest who is growing into a handsome, big gentleman at 3 years of age now, and still getting taller and longer. And yes, Like you I love black & white for many photos. Colour can be over rated sometimes.

Oh yes, those Maine Coons get really big and heavy! Nice to hear you have multiple cats. Cats will be in my future, it's a necessity.
