ipernity staff ! why are you censoring again and again the stream of Yuma de Lamour * ? she never did anything wrong or forbidden on your photo platform. she is a most honourable, endearing, honest person. I think, you, ipernity staff, dont accept her world view, and that's why you are censoring her. ipernity staff, you are acting arbitrarily and undemocratically.
ipernity staff, shame on you !

I thought it was Voltaire who said that. No matter. It is a fairly good quotation...if not taken too far. Who wants to fight for the right of, say, Cristine Lagarde to pontificate and talk rubbish to others? :-)

Roland replied to dolores666:

Voltaire never said these words. they were written by Evelyn Beatrice Hall in here Voltaire biograpy.

there is a difference between free expression and talking rubbish or a deliberate lie ;)

in germany i have the right to say a politician talks rubbish ;)

in Germany the "freedom of expression" is granted by article 5 of the basic law for the Federal Republic of Germany.

shaping of public opinion mostly takes place by the impact of mainstream media reporting.
that is why we call these medias mainstream medias ;)

Re. Voltaire, I stand (or, rather, sit) duly corrected, Roland. Danke.
As for talking rubbish with impunity and calling it The Truth...I better not get into this right now. :-)
In any case, much cheered by the spotting of another Finklestinian (and Chomsian!) in this desert of midstreamness.

there is a lot of political content posted on ipernity.

december 2014 the ipernity staff started mobbing "Yuma de Lamour"
because of allegedly infringements. "....political content is not allowed. ipernity is only
for having fun ....." the truth is, they blocked her stream again and again, because
they are censoring her worldview.

ipernity staff is censoring political content arbitrarily with reference to there vague rules.

dolores666 replied to Roland:

Yuma was not the only one who got mobbed, as you so graphically put it. There's been another expulsion of a member for writing a short article dissenting from the official Je Suis Charlie party-line/dogma. You can freely express yourself, here...as long as you don't talk heressy ;-) Savonarola would be proud.

Thanks for the well-wishing, Roland. I'm just off to the garden with the Shoggoths, to dance naked around the Totem Pole and drink Spanish beer and exorcise the bad spirits, of which many in my neck of the woods. Happy May Day to you camarada! :-)

Fantastic composition! Well said. Hope one day the censorship and double standards end. There was no rational reason to suspend Yuma's account time and time again until she left.
