Day 8, Pointe-à-la-Croix, Quebec
Just added 7 photos tonight, taken in May 2018, when four friends and I took a two-week holiday in Ontario and Quebec. The photos of the White-crowned Sparrow and the Evening Grosbeak are out of order, taken on Day 6 and Day 9, but I was missing posting a few bird photos. These two images were both taken in the garden of Anne B's property in Tadoussac, Quebec.
The remaining five photos were taken on 14 May 2018, when we drove NE of Tadoussac along the coast, stopping at several places, including Les Bergeronnes and Pointe-à-la-Croix, to search for birds. At the latter location, there is a huge, metal cross that makes a beautiful landmark. This quick shot was taken through the windshield.
While wandering over the very colourful rocks at Pointe-à-la-Croix, we were lucky enough to see 4 Lapland Longspurs. This was the first time I had ever seen this species.
