Just a quick, low quality shot, more to remind myself of where I saw this beautiful Rough-legged Hawk than anything else. The sun was shining, so I thought I'd go for just a short drive along some backroads SW of the city this afternoon, 5 November 2013. When I saw the state of some of the gravel roads after it snowed all weekend, I decided I'd better keep to the paved roads.
