Hard to believe that I am actually saying this, but I was really happy to come across this little patch of Slime Mold when I was walking at Mallard Point in Fish Creek Park on September 21st. It really didn't look very appealing - in fact, at first, I thought maybe a dog had thrown up : ) You just never know what you might find when least expecting it, ha.
