I can never remember what these golden receptacles (?) belong to. Is it some kind of Aster? They are only tiny (maybe quarter to half an inch across) - this is a macro shot. To me, they always look as if they are made out of metal. Photographed on September 30th at Bow Valley Provincial Park.
