This is what we saw when we stopped and walked around one of the farms during the Audubon Christmas Bird Count down in the circle around Nanton, south of Calgary. Taken on January 2nd. I think it was probably a mother and her youngster. Judging by the huge lick marks all over Tony's car, I suspect they were licking off salt.
