The colouring in this photo is a bit different from many of my Great Gray Owl photos, so thought I'd post it. Taken on 28 March 2013, NW of Calgary. This was Owl number 4 (of four that I saw that day) and was unusually easily spooked. So, just a few very distant shots - which do make a change from close-up views.
