Rural Alberta
Another little bit of rural Alberta landscape, taken during the annual Nanton Christmas Bird Count on January 2nd. Nanton is a small town south of Calgary, about a 45-minute drive away. Five of us covered the SW quadrant of the large birding circle around the town. Not sure I've ever seen a storage "shed" this shape before - anyone know exactly what it is? I have marked the town of Nanton on my map, but this photo was taken somewhere in the SW quadrant of a large birding circle around the town.
