Sitting at my computer, listening to the steady sound of scraping outside, now knowing that enough fresh snow fell overnight to need removing from my car before I can go anywhere today. And so, here is a bright, cheery image to hopefully brighten your day. This beautiful Julia butterfly was photographed at the Calgary Zoo on October 5th. The end of the butterfly season in the ENMAX Conservatory was September and this butterfly was just an odd one that had survived a little longer.
